Our mission is that of positive, unconditional regard at all times for all people. We accept people for who they are and we never give up on their potential to live peaceful and happy lives.

Guiding Principles

Sullivan & Associates, Inc. shall conduct itself according to the following guiding principals;

History

Sullivan & Associates, Inc was incorporated on December 27, 1982 for the purpose of providing community-based support for persons with disabilities.

The Agency is licensed by its Principal Purchasing Agencies, the Department of Mental Retardation and the Department of Mental Health.

The agency first contracted with the Department of Mental Health and subsequently with the Department of Mental Retardation, the Department of Social Services, the Department of Youth Services and the Department of Education.

In 1986 the Agency began contracting with the Statewide Head Injury Program under the Massachusetts Rehabilitation Commission and subsequently in 1990 the IL-Turning 22 Program also under MRC.

In 1991 the Agency began providing services for people who are Deaf/Hard of Hearing and also began contracting with the Massachusetts Commission for the Blind.

In 1994 the Agency began providing Residential Respite Services during school vacations and holiday weekends.

In December 2001 the Solutions Day Program opened in Pittsfield and in July of 2004 Solutions Too opened in Springfield. These two unique Day Programs provide individualized day support for people from within the Agency and from the surrounding communities.

The Agency maintains a Two-Year Certification with DMR’s Office of Quality Enhancement.

In Fiscal Year 06, the Commonwealth has contracts with Sullivan & Associates, Inc for revenues of 10 million dollars.
