Sullivan & Associates, Inc proudly employs over 350 staff throughout Western Massachusetts. Our staff is highly trained and highly valued. Staff at all levels of the agency further our mission by providing quality support with constant unconditional positive regard.
Each home and day program is staffed with dedicated direct support employees who are the most highly valued level of our workforce. Direct support employees are supervised by Program Mangers and Assistant Mangers. Next, there is a team of Program Directors that supervise the managers. The Program Directors are directly supervised and supported by the Executive Director in Springfield and the Director of Operations in Pittsfield.
The agency provides the direct support and management staff with ancillary support of nursing and clinical staff. These departments work in harmony with our Human Resource team to assure that the staff that are providing direct support have all the necessary training and resources possible to provide quality support.
Our staff is provided with training in areas such as; Human Rights, Treatment Planning, Prevention and Reporting of Abuse and Neglect, Fire Safety, Self Advocacy, OSHA, Deaf Culture, Community Integration, Emergency Procedures, Sexuality and Nutrition. Additionally, staff obtains and maintains certification in CPR, First Aid, Medication Administration and Non-Violent Physical Crisis Intervention. In addition to our extensive training programs, our staff is recognized for their exceptional contributions monthly and annually through our Employee of the Month/Year program. There are several incentive programs available to our staff to attend further training and to pursue their educational goals. (Our staff turnover is low as compared to industry standards which is a result of our longevity incentive program, our training/education incentive program, and how highly our staff is regarded.)
